In App Store review — launching soon

Beat yourself.
Then beat your friends.

Push-ups, squats and core, counted by your camera and not by you. Race somebody in real time, train together in a room, and climb the ranks.

Your camera does the counting

Prop your phone against something, get in position, go. The app watches your body move and counts the rep when the movement completes. No wearable, no tapping the screen between sets, nothing to write down.

Everything happens on your phone Pose detection runs on-device. No video is uploaded, stored or sent anywhere. Only the number of reps ever leaves your phone.
It counts the movement, not your form GRYND is not a form coach. It decides one thing: did you do the rep or not. That is what keeps a leaderboard worth anything.
Any angle, any position Facing the camera, side on, phone on the floor. It measures how your body travels, so it works from wherever the phone happens to be.

What it actually looks like

Three moves. Everything else is competition.

Push-up, squat, core. Enough to change your body, few enough that the numbers mean something when you compare them to someone else's.

1v1

Real-time duels

Sixty seconds, one move, two phones. The clock and the score belong to the server, so nobody can disagree about who won.

Crews

Train in a room

Up to twenty people, same round at the same second, synced rest between them. Everyone's count live on one screen.

Ranks

Climb the ladder

XP, levels and nine tiers from Rookie to Gryndmaster. Weekly leaderboards, all-time world records, and a streak you will be annoyed to lose.

Plans

A plan built from your numbers

We measure you first, then build the week around what you can actually do, and move it as those numbers move.

Four minutes is the whole session

The problem was never that you did not know you should train. It is that doing it alone, every day, forever, feels like discipline. So GRYND takes that part out and puts somebody you know a few reps ahead of you instead.

Questions people actually ask

Does it really count reps with the camera?

Yes. Prop your phone against something and the app watches your body move, counting the rep when the movement completes. It runs on your phone using Apple's Vision framework, so there is no wearable and nothing to tap between sets.

Is my video uploaded anywhere?

No. Pose detection happens on your device and the frames are discarded immediately. No video or image is ever uploaded, saved or transmitted. The only thing that leaves your phone is a number.

Do I need a gym or any equipment?

No. GRYND is push-ups, squats and sit-ups. You need a floor and your phone.

When does it come out?

It is in App Store review now. Leave your email above and we will send you one message on the day it goes live — that is the whole list, and it gets used once.

Is it free?

The app will be free to download. GRYND Pro unlocks the plan, duels, crews and the leaderboards, and the yearly plan starts with a 3 day free trial. Cancel any time in Settings.

How does a 1v1 duel work?

Two phones, one move, most reps wins. The clock and the score are held by the server rather than either phone, so there is nothing to argue about. Play a timed round, a first-to-a-target race, or an open round where you both go until you stop.

Does it work on iPad?

Yes. GRYND runs on iPhone and iPad, on iOS 18 and later.
